Friday-Eve, Y’all!

It’s 77 degrees and sunny here in northwest Georgia. The humidity is high as a mother, and I have no intentions of outside play for my littles.

Currently, I am contemplating on what fun things my son and I can do while his sister is in school. Colors? Words? Shapes? I’m in my head. How can anyone overthink on these simple choices? I want it to be fun for him, but for myself as well. Decisions, decisions.

He just finished breakfast, and is now coloring, in his high chair of course. Don’t judge, do you trust your 2 year old to run around and color? If so, that’s great. Nathan is a mastermind with an impressive imagination, who also happens to have very light-colored walls in his room. No, thank you. On that note, I’ve decided – colors for the win!

Oh the life of a stay at home mom, and all of the things we think about, even overthink about.

However, it’s FRIDAY-EVE! One more day until the adventurous weekend ahead. What do we have planned that’s so adventurous, you ask? Honestly, nothing. I’m already overthinking the weekend as well. That’s just a daily bonus of being a SAHM.

So, enjoy your Thursday, and let your littles adventure. Power to the SAHMs!

Side note: It’s pretty typical that Starbucks would sent me a notification as I was finishing up this initial post, “See you @ 3:00 for Happy Hour!” NO, Starbucks! Why?!  😩 The distance struggle is real.
