Find Your Tribe

I like to start from the beginning with most of my blogs, so here goes.

About a month ago, I hardly used Instagram at all. I always resorted to using Facebook. Even with my design business. I would get lots of reactions from my Facebook friends most of the time. Which by the way, are mostly family. That’s honestly why I haven’t deleted my account yet. Of course they like to see pictures, videos, and my posts of my kids.

As for my business, it was so embarrassing. I hate even being blunt about that, but it’s true. I would make a post, like I do on here, and would occasionally get 1 like. Yes, one – and that was on a rare occasion. I’m sure I don’t even have to say who would normally like my business posts. I tried and tried my hardest to promote, to do polls, and I had even done a few giveaways here and there. I had also made custom invitations for a few that lived out of the country, which I thought was the best thing ever. I held onto that. That gave me hope for some reason.

One day last month, I noticed one of my friends on Instagram posting a lot of cute stuff and she had a lot of friends. I’m not going to call you all followers, because I have made so many awesome friends within this last month. Anyways, I decided to message her, and for those of you wondering who “she” is – (@mamadramaplus2). I would go into detail about how thankful I am for her helping me with how far I have gotten, and not necessarily in numbers. She knows how awesome she is, and how grateful I am for her! Much love Tiff!

*Quick background about how I actually know Tiff:

We grew up in the same area. Actually, like 2 streets down I believe. Years later, we ended up at our hometown Hospital to have our girls at the same time. No, we weren’t “besties“. We knew of each other, we were neighbors. Now, we’re actually pretty great friends.

When she started helping me, I had around 80 followers, and I didn’t have the slightest clue on how to use Instagram. She got me started, and I just paid close attention to details, and did some research myself.

As mentioned, I have “virtually” met so many awesome people who live the same lifestyle as I do, who share same interests, who have goals and dreams, and who always show love and support. I am blessed to be able to follow all of your journeys, and I would be lucky to actually meet most of you one day.

One of the greatest things that has happened from something so negative is a group that I help manage called, “Find Your Tribe”. This group was originally created by myself and another sweet friend of mine, Kelsea. You can find her on Instagram (@k10eee). We were so fed up with follow loops and people not staying true, so we decided to start from the beginning and make our own. We chose Find Your Tribe because of the diversity in the name. We wanted to create a group that would be for everyone.

So we started Find Your Tribe loops. Which has helped our group grow, us as individuals grow, as well as our followers. We have set rules, and if you are a follower of Find Your Tribe, you’ll know what rules I’m referring too.

As Find Your Tribe grew, we added another host, she goes by Mishi. You can find her on Instagram (@mishipcm). She has helped us grow as well by creating our website. You can find our website link in our bio on Instagram. Our site will have everything you need to know. The navigation is simple, and we also have a section that will tell you about us as admins. You’ll also be able to find our Facebook group link on their as well. We have many platforms, and our schedule changes weekly. Be sure to check it out and follow so you don’t miss anything.

In the midst of getting our website going, we actually ended up adding Tiffani (@mamadramaplus2 – “Tiff“) in as an admin as well.

So now we have 4 admins with a driven mindset, and our main goal is to help others. Our Instagram page has almost reached 1k, and we are forever grateful for that. We are grateful that at some point we have been able to help each one of you in some way.

Our newest feature that we have recently started are Ghost Hosts. Most of you who normally participate in our loop and others, know what these are. Find Your Tribe charges $3 per loop for you to be a Ghost Host. The profits will go towards a giveaway, and we are also planning to help children/families in need.

The holidays are coming up, and there are so many families, so many kids who barely have anything at all. So if you can loop with us as a ghost or would like to donate, please send us a message on our Instagram page. We’re here to help you, others, and for those that have participated and donated, thank you.

We will have Find Your Tribe shirts coming soon, and we will announce the details once we have everything together on all of our platforms.

I am so excited to see where Find Your takes us! Thank you for taking the time to read! If you have any questions, please let me know!

Good luck to you all on FINDING YOUR TRIBE!
